Extendable cabin diagram

Designed to work in conjunction with the KAL500's dump mast, the cab has the ability to extend up to 1 metre horizontally from its resting position, enabling the operator to see the drill table and rod handling operations at all drilling angles. The extending cab feature, and the rig's ability to drill at angles up to 50 degrees provides operators with unprecedented versatility when compared to imported production rigs.

The Globe Drill design team focused on producing a working environment conducive to achieving maximum operator safety, comfort and productivity. Utilizing the very latest technology and custom components, the cab incorporates both pilot and electro hydraulic control systems with PLC touch screen rig diagnostics and Inteli-Drive engine monitoring and control. The cabin has also been designed to stay within the rig profile for low-loader transportation.
